Wishing you a warm welcome to Kakano 7 for 2022.
This blog is where you will need to regularly check-in so you know what is happening in our classroom and within the school. It will be updated on a Sunday so that you know what is happening in the week ahead. It will also be updated during the week with any new notices that we did not have on Sunday and there will be photos of things that have happened in our class. Please let other family members know about our class blog as they might like to follow along as well.
I look forward to meeting everyone again at the interviews on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th February. I know it can be a little daunting when your child starts school so please bring any questions you may have to the interviews.

Our first full school day is Tuesday 8th February.
I have three children who all attend John Paul College. Sophie is in year 12, Aidan is in year 11 and Zak is starting there this year in year 7. I love spending time with my family and I am lucky to have my mum, dad, sister, and her family in Rotorua too. I love spending time at the beach and we go to Ohope often. I have taught in schools in Hamilton, London, and rural Rotorua. I have been teaching at St Mary's since 2015, either relieving or with my own class.
I am really looking forward to a fun-filled year with you and your children.
