Term 3 Week 9

Kia ora kākano families. I hope you have had a great weekend

enjoying the fine weather.

We had a great time at the mini marathon on Friday. A big thanks

to those parents who helped on the day.

Once again we have a busy week ahead preparing for the school

production.  Please read the details carefully.

School Production - Little Red Rocking Hood

All kākano classes have been working enthusiastically to learn

their dance for the production. Our dance is to the song - The

Purple People Eater.

The evening shows are now sold out and there are no door

sales. Matinee tickets are the only ones available now.  We are

not selling tickets to our school show through the office this year.

matinee (during school time) and an evening performance. The

production will be about an hour long. Our classes have been split

into two groups and your child is expected to be at both

performances.

On Friday, October 21, we will be holding our sponsored event.

 School COLOUR Fun Run!

Fantastic Fundraising

The effort and enthusiasm from students have been fantastic and we’ve had a

great start to our big fundraiser for the year, as we were unable to hold a Gala

Day.

Can your child come up with ideas to help them fundraise? - chores, helping a

neighbour in the garden, I am sure there are many more ideas they can think of.

Please keep sharing your child's link

Go to schoolfunrun.co.nz, share your online fundraising link via SMS, Email

and Social Media.

If someone would like to sponsor your child and give them cash, they can

do this.  Please take the money to the office, with your child's name and room

number and we will be able to add the amount to their profile.

THANK YOU! for the support, we have received from everyone.  It isn’t too

late to make a profile for your child if you haven’t done one yet.
